Christmas Wonderland 2020 at Gardens by the Bay is back! The biggest year-end festive event invites visitors of all ages to explore a virtual magical realm unlike any other from the comfort of their homes.

There are hyper-realistic graphics and highly interactive content for online participants and onsite events such as the Walk of Lights that allow you to surround yourself with the magical sights of Christmas.

Here are 5 things to know about Christmas Wonderland 2020.

1. Virtual and Onsite Event

Christmas Wonderland 2020 will require participants to sign up for a membership to unlock the different tiers of benefits to Virtual Christmas Wonderland 2020 starting at the price of S$8 for the whole family.

There are three tiers to unlock. Members will then enjoy unlimited access to the virtual world on the Members Only area of the website and Windows desktop app. The Comet ($15) and Rudolph ($25) tier members will also get a limited edition Christmas Wonderland plush bear delivered to their homes for free (within Singapore only).

2. Walk of Lights at Supertree Grove

Surround yourself with the magic of Christmas as you head down to Gardens by the Bay for the Walk of Lights. View eight stunning light installations from Italy in person as they illuminate the Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay. You can also look out for a festive concept display by Häagen-Dazs.

Tickets to the onsite event are priced at S$5 each and are sold separately from the online membership for Virtual Christmas Wonderland 2020. Visitors are required to pre-book a 30-minute session with a maximum of five persons allowed per group and purchase their tickets up to an hour before their visit. Tickets are not available for sale on-site.

3. Have a Video Call with Santa

Can’t meet Santa in person? Fret not, have a chat with Santa in a private Cisco Webex video call from the comfort of your home! Tell him if you have been naughty or nice as a fun Christmas treat in this private 3-minute video chat session with Santa Claus. 4. Play Online Games including a Snowball Fight

How good are your aiming skills? Immerse yourself in a hyper-realistic wonderland and get in on the ultimate multiplayer snowball fight at the Snow Playground! See if you can be the last elf standing as you run to the front lines or take cover in a rustic barn or in the field to avoid getting hit by flying snowballs.

Other fun activities include carnival games with a digital twist, solve challenging puzzles with Puzzlemania presented by Lenovo, or help the elves at Santa’s Workshop to pack gifts whilst stopping rogue elves from stealing presents.
