A Very Laufey, Day or AVLD, started off in 2023 when the Grammy-winning Icelandic-Chinese singer-songwriter shared her ideal itinerary with her fans. It has since exploded into a worldwide event where fans head out to enjoy activities as Laufey would.
This year, A Very Laufey Day is centred on the theme of “A Celebration of the Arts”. It is a call celebrate art in every form: music, museums, live performances, books and more, and there are multiple places where fans can have A Very Laufey Day in Singapore.

Laufey’s Rhapsody in Blue is a layered ceremonial matcha with butterfly pea, hint of coconut and fresh mango. It is inspired by the dreamy, tranquil tones of Rhapsody in Blue.

Fans will know Laufey’s background in classical music. To enjoy this side of the arts, one of the recommended performances is Chasm & Cloudscape. Hong Xiang (pianist) and Gabriel Ng (violinist) will presenting an evening of music at Singapore Conference Hall centred on two masterpieces: Rachmaninoff’s Piano Sonata No. 2 and Bartók’s Sonata for Solo Violin.
