There often are events like a carnival or a festival market on the grounds of Victoria Park. Otherwise, simply enjoy some down-time by people watching in the shade or watching model-boats zipping on the waters of the model-boat lake (close to Victoria Park’s Gloucester Road entrance).

Hong Kong Central Library

If the kids are still raring to go after they’ve conquered all of Victoria Park’s playgrounds, pop into Hong Kong Central Library which is just across the road. Head straight to the second floor where the Children’s Library can be found, and should Lady Luck be on your side, your kids might be able to score some play time in the Toy Library, the first public Toy Library in Hong Kong.
