The exhibition, running till 2 September 2026 at the FEVER Exhibition Hall along Scotts Road, is a showcase of original paintings, book cover art and hand-crafted relics from the world’s most iconic fantasy, sci-fi, and gaming universes.

Timeline Tunnel
Entering PORTALS, you will first make your way down the decades along the Timeline Tunnel.
Buntings hang from the ceiling while literary works lining the hallway the draw you into the exhibition.
Realm of Legends
Fantasy and tales have been in existence for centuries. At the Realm of Legends, you can explore the Hero’s Journey and some of the myths that have endured through the ages.
This is also where you can find the first of three impressive dioramas at the exhibition – a large-scale model of the lost world of Atlantis that will have you peering into the details.
Realm of Worldbuilders
Tolkien, Martin and Pritchett are some of the names synonymous with the fantasy genre. Learn about these authors and their backstories.

What is your favourite fantasy trope? Is it the reluctant hero? The company? Explore these and more alongside literary art and books at the Realm of Fantasy.
Realm of Gaming
Games let you inject yourself into the world of fantasy through role-play. The Realm of Fantasy celebrates RPG and the immersive experience it brings.

One of the most impressive dioramas of the exhibition showcases a huge battle as humans struggle to preserve the last vestiges of humanity – which, fittingly, is a library!
Creative Studio
Finally, step into the Creative Studio where you can draw and create your own mini masterpiece in response to the exhibition.
The PORTALS Experience
The PORTALS exhibition is the flagship creation of father-daughter duo Scott and Shona Graham.
The collection has been built over 40 years and preserves physical human creations while celebrating the artists behind them.
We think that fantasy or sci-fi fans will appreciate the exhibition and the artworks on display. All the pieces are authentic works with no replicas or prints.
We also admired the scale and intricacies of the diorama displays throughout the exhibition. Some of these even invited visitors to use their phone flashlights to explore and uncover hidden details. Creative!
Take note that the exhibition carries an Advisory 16 (Some Nudity and Mature Content) classification as it explores some mature fantasy and sci-fi themes. This comes across in some of the artworks and fantasy book covers. While the exhibition does welcome younger visitors, parents are advised to use their discretion to guide them through the different zones.
