Be wowed by larger-than-life activities at the Land of Giants at Singapore Zoo and River Safari during the year-end school holidays 2017.
World of Invertebrates at Singapore Zoo
At Singapore Zoo, explore a Land of Giants trails at Heliconia Valley where 20 super-sized invertebrates including the orchid mantis, net-casting spider and others lurk. Visitors can also follow an ant trail leading to different activity pit stops.
Young explorers can pick up a Bug Explorer trail sheet to learn more about insect’s amazing abilities. Return the completed sheet to receive a set of Magic Goggles gift.
On weekends between 18 November and 31 December, and on Christmas Day, a myriad of activities will be held around Singapore Zoo in conjunction with Land of Giants.
Little ones can enjoy a Little Giant Puppetry Show at the Pavilion next to Rainforest, meet dung beetle and lime butterfly mascots at the Entrance Plaza, encounter invertebrates such as Cave Forest Cockroaches or Stick Insects at the Fragile Forest Discovery Outpost and participate in insect-themed craft.

Giant River Activities at River Safari
Over at River Safari, more activities await during the year-end school holidays 2017.
Visitors can embark on a self-guided River Giants Explorer Trail to uncover facts about river-dwelling animals.
During the weekends between 18 November and 31 December, and on Christmas Day, there will be storytelling performances held at the Boat Plaza, crafts for kids and special animal enrichment sessions at the Giant Freshwater Stingray, Giant Salamander and Manatee exhibits.
Canola, the River Safari’s manatee mascot, will also be mingling with visitors and posing for photos.
Special Savings for Local Residents on Two Park Combo Tickets
Local residents will also get to enjoy a special promotional price on two-park combo tickets for same-day entry to Singapore Zoo and River Safari. This special two-park combo tickets are priced $40 per adult (usual price, $63) and $28 per child between three to 12 years old (usual price, $42) and will be available during the period of 18 November to 31 December 2017.
