From 25 August to 27 September 2026, Sanrio character installations, glowing lantern displays, immersive garden landscapes and family-friendly experiences inspired by Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, My Melody and Pompompurin are taking over the Level 3 Sky Park at VivoCity for Sanrio Characters Moonlit Garden.
VivoCity’s Sanrio Characters Moonlit Garden Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations
Head over to VivoCity’s rooftop SkyPark where six immersive, themed areas await for the Mid-Autumn Festival season.
Each of the themed areas is designed to celebrate the warmth and joy of Mid-Autumn in true Sanrio fashion and feature Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, My Melody, Hangyodon and Pompompurin.

Each themed areas celebrates the personality of a beloved Sanrio character through larger-than-life installations, immersive landscaping, glowing lantern displays and interactive experiences as you step into whimsical lantern-filled gardens, enjoy tranquil waterscapes and even soak in feels of carnival attractions.
Moonlit Garden Gateway
The journey begins at the Moonlit Garden Gateway where a glowing harvest moon invites everyone to join Hello Kitty and her friends in the wondrous world of Moonlit Garden.
The welcoming gateway celebrates the spirit of reunion and togetherness that lies at the heart of Mid-Autumn, inviting families and friends to create lasting memories.
Kuromi Carnival Kingdom
Anchored by a towering 5-metre Kuromi inflatable perched dramatically atop brightly illuminated carnival containers, the Kuromi Carnival Kingdom brings together playful energy and nostalgic fun in one colourful destination.
There are six Sanrio-themed carnival game booths where you can put your skills to the test for a chance to win adorable prizes.
The Carnival is located at the SkyPark Level 3 and the operating hours are 25 August to 27 September 2026, 5 pm to 10 pm daily.

Kids can also catch a ride onboard the Sanrio-themed Mini Express Train. Priced at $10 per ride, each Mini Express Train ticket comes a full set of Sanrio Characters stickers featuring all four designs.
As evening falls, colourful lights, lively music and the glowing waterfront backdrop bring Kuromi Carnival Kingdom to life, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere that captures the joyful spirit of Mid-Autumn.
Cinnamoroll Secret Garden Grove
At the heart of the grove stands a magnificent 5-metre-wide Cinnamoroll inflatable, surrounded by lush gardenscape, creating one of the campaign’s most breathtaking centrepieces.
There are delicate floral arches, glowing gateways and intricately designed lantern walls that celebrate both Mid-Autumn traditions and the whimsical charm of Sanrio.
You can also take part in a beloved Mid-Autumn tradition by participating in the Lantern Riddle Challenge to redeem an exclusive Sanrio Sticker Set.
Successfully complete the challenge and be among the first 50 participants each hour (between 5 pm to 9 pm) to receive the exclusive Sanrio sticker set, while stocks last.
Hello Kitty Starlit Lantern Walk
Continue your journey beneath a breathtaking canopy of glowing lanterns at Hello Kitty Starlit Lantern Walk, where hundreds of warm lights transform the connecting bridge into one of the most spectacular strolls of the season.
Stretching across Sky Park, this beautifully illuminated link bridge is adorned with festive lanterns and twinkling fairy lights, creating an immersive passage that comes alive as evening falls. At either end of the walkway, towering inflatables of Hello Kitty and My Melody stand proudly to welcome visitors, framing the experience with two of Sanrio’s most beloved characters.
Hangyodon Moonlit Water Garden
At Hangyodon Moonlit Water Garden, shimmering reflections dance across the water as floating lights, illuminated water lilies and gentle lighting create a peaceful sanctuary unlike any other.
Located at the centre of this themed area at VivoCity’s Sanrio Characters Moonlit Garden is a charming 5-metre Hangyodon inflatable, playfully emerging from the water and welcoming visitors into his serene garden.
The immersive waterscape and garden is a picturesque oasis in the daytime.
At night, it transforms into a pretty landscape where lanterns sparkle across the water.
Pompompurin Mooncake Tea Party
An impressive 7-metre-tall giant Pompompurin inflatable stand atop an oversized mooncake forms the centrepiece of VivoCity’s Mid-Autumn celebrations and serves as the grand finale to the Moonlit Garden experience.
The display is inspired by the timeless tradition of gathering with loved ones over mooncakes and tea and creates a immersive photo destination blends playful Sanrio charm with the warmth of Mid-Autumn festivities.
Visitors can wander through whimsical tea party elements, discover delightful character details hidden throughout the installation, and capture unforgettable photographs with one of the campaign’s most iconic centrepieces set against the stunning backdrop of Singapore’s southern waterfront.
Sanrio Characters Light Up VivoCity for the Mid-Autumn Festival
Together, these beautifully connected worlds create one of VivoCity’s most ambitious Mid-Autumn celebrations to date, inviting guests to slow down, explore and create lasting memories beneath the glow of the harvest moon.
The installations are open from 10 am to 10 pm. The lights come on from 6 pm to 10 pm.
Sanrio Characters Meet & Greet
On selected weekends, you can also look forward to Meet & Greet sessions with Sanrio characters at VivoCity.

The Sanrio Characters Meet & Greets will take place at the North-West Boulevard, Level 1 (near Chanel).
Spend a minimum of $80 in a single receipt can redeem an exclusive Meet & Greet Pass and meet the participating Sanrio characters. The redemption is limited to the first 30 qualifying redemptions per session, on a first-come-first-served basis.
Redemption must be made in-person at the event area at least 30 minutes before each session. Terms and conditions apply.

More Experiences for the Mooncake Festival at VivoCity
Other experiences planned at VivoCity in celebration of the mooncake festival and VivoCity’s 20th anniversary this year include a mooncake plushie packing challenge, complimentary Ding Ding Candy from 7 pm to 9 pm at Level 3 for the first 300 shoppers each day on 29 and 30 August, and a limited-edition VC20 x The Art Faulty Thermal Bottle featuring specially commissioned artworks by artists from The Art Faculty.
The TANGS Mid-Autumn Fair featuring nearly 50 brands will also be at the Central Court from 25 August to 25 September.
