Even though the crypto markets are down, you can still party it up in the CapitaVerse on Decentraland, courtesy of CapitaLand and DBS, in collaboration with Bandwagon Labs.
CapitaVerse: CapitaLand Metaverse Party in Decentraland
CapitaLand is the first mall operator in Singapore to be throwing an experiential party in the metaverse on Decentraland. The digital party will take place for 24 hours from 19 June, 6 pm, to 20 June, 5 pm, with early access for VIPs at 5 pm.
Decentraland is a virtual space built on the Ethereum blockchain.
Participants in the metaverse party can create their own avatars and explore four different levels filled with interactivity. There will be live music performances, brand showcases and virtual hunts with real world swag to be won.
Level 1 will have the illumi-kinetic lounge. When ready, head up to Level 2 where you can pick up a Proof of Attendance Protocol NFT which can be stored in your MetaMask wallet. This NFT serves as a CapitaLand VIP Pass which you can flash to enjoy real-world deals at selected CapitaLand malls between 20 June and 20 July 2022.
Level 3 is where participants can preview adidas live product displays. Also on Level 3 are Zouk, Mastercard and the Universal Studios Singapore experience docks.
Level 4 is the rooftop viewing gallery where Zouk Group DJs will be spinning beats throughout the CapitaVerse event. Local singer-songwriter Haven will also be making her debut in the metaverse.
Virtual Hunts & More in the CapitaVerse
There will be CapitaVerse Virtual Hunts held every hour between 5 pm to 9 pm on 19 June and 9 am to 5 pm on 20 June. Collect five brand badges within the hour for a chance to win real wold prizes worth $17,000, including Universal Studios Singapore tickets courtesy of Mastercard and eCapitaVouchers.
From 19 June, 6 pm onwards, 1,500 complimentary CapitaVerse Aura wearables will be up for grabs at the wearables display on Level 3, so that you can dress up your avatar for the occasion, while stocks last.
