We’ve enjoyed stays at various establishments with the sea, forest, city skyline, even Table Mountain as our backdrop. But this was the first time we could draw back the curtains – with just a touch of the tablet beside our bed – and gaze into a marina with yachts bobbing gently up and down. This was the lovely sight we enjoyed at Oneo15 Marina Sentosa Cove while on a staycation.

Relaxing on the balcony at the Sentosa Cove MarinaFrom our Marina View room, we enjoyed a sweeping vista that extended to the Singapore Strait in the distance.

Set against this view, our short staycation took on a peaceful and relaxing tone that even our seven-year-old appreciated (most of the time).

Room With A View

It was raining lightly when we arrived on a Sunday after the check-in time of 3pm at Oneo15 Marina Sentosa Cove. With only 26 rooms in the clubhouse, it was easy to find ours on the third floor.

Marina View room at One15 MarinaThe room had a contemporary vibe, with a balcony overlooking the marina. Our little one lost no time in making herself comfortable on the Hollywood Queen-sized bed while we took a quick look around.

Sunken BathtubThe sunken bathtub with a small television on the wall caught our attention. “E is going to want to watch cartoons while she showers,” we thought. And that was exactly what happened.

To Infinity (Pool) And Beyond

By now, the rain had tapered off to just a fine drizzle. We took the chance to explore the club’s infinity pool, having been informed that floats were thrown in on weekends.

Pool at One Marina 15I enjoyed the picture postcard view at the pool: happy children playing in the foreground, with the beautiful marina in the background. The huge unicorn and flamingo floats were a hit with the kids, who also liked to “walk” on water over the floating sheets in the pool.

If we had started our stay one day earlier, we would have been able to enjoy the movie-screening by the pool with complimentary popcorn on Saturdays. Well, there is always next time.

Arcade at One15 MarinaAt the back of the pool area, a children’s playroom beckoned to the younger kids while an arcade room appealed to the older ones. The latter, though small, packed in quite a range of games, from racing to air hockey and even pinball!

A Sea Of Dining Options

After working up an appetite from the swim, it was time to eat. We had many dining choices around the marina. Oneo15 Marina Sentosa Cove’s award-winning Chinese restaurant Woko15 Kitchen, contemporary bistro LATITUDE and the floating Boaters’ Bar all made excellent choices.

Just a short walk away, the F&B establishments at the Quayside Isle were a draw too, with their chic, casual ambience and spectacular view of the marina.

In the end, we drove out for a simple dinner as we wanted to catch the Crane Dance at Resorts World Sentosa. As guests of Oneo15 Marina Sentosa Cove, we enjoyed complimentary parking at the members’ carpark for the whole duration of our stay, regardless of the number of entries.

We could also have taken the free service, Sentosa Bus B, from Sentosa Cove to the Beach Station, then changed a bus to get to RWS. Staying at the club meant that we were immersed in a world of tranquility, yet not far from the major attractions in Sentosa.

Breakfast By The Marina

The morning brought with it the sun, a welcome sight following the day before’s rain. Our accommodation package included buffet breakfast at LATITUDE bistro. There was a good spread of continental breakfast delights, as well as some Singapore signatures such as bak kut teh and fried carrot cake.

LATITUDE bistroWe enjoyed our meal and the warm service of the bistro staff.

Our little one seemed to be extra ravenous after waking up late and taking the morning slow. After her big breakfast, she took her juice and book out of the indoor air-conditioned area to the alfresco seating side so she could be even closer to the beautiful white yachts, and spent some relaxing moments by the marina.

Relaxing at Oneo15 Marina Sentosa Cove

Relaxing at Oneo15 Marina Sentosa CoveI took the chance to stroll along the boardwalk next to the bistro, looking out at the marina right in front of me. It was good to be able to just enjoy the view, and indulge in the peace of the moment.
