National Family Festival (NFF) returns for its fifth edition in 2026 with a renewed focus on encouraging Singaporeans to make family a priority in everyday life. Taking place from 30 May to 28 June 2026, the month-long festival brings together community groups and corporate partners to embed family-friendly habits into everyday life.
This year, the theme of the National Family Festival is “Family Begins with Me”. This reflects the simple conviction that strong families are built through consistent, everyday actions — such as showing up, staying present, sharing meals, and making time for one another.

The National Family Festival starts off with the NFF Family Carnival @ EXPO on 30 and 31 May 2026, the first weekend of the June school holidays in Singapore.
The NFF Family Carnival @ EXPO is designed as an immersive experience to help families connect, reflect, and build stronger relationships through shared activities.
At the carnival, families can explore five themed zones – My Caring Moments, My Fun Moments, My Growing Moments, My Bonding Moments and My Recharge Moments.
In each of these zones, families can take part in hands-on experiences together.
Families can go on a digital quest experience, developed by GTG from the For Real Co. community, that will guide them through the different themed zones at NFF Family Carnival @ EXPO while also encouraging conversation, play, and connection across generations.
At the My Bonding Moments zone, families can view the Grow Well SG x Screen Smart installations co-developed by HPB, MDDI, MOE and MSF.
They can take part in interactive activities while pick up parenting tips on healthy habits, screen use, online safety, and screen-free bonding activities.
The zone also features fun family bonding activities by Families for Life (FFL) volunteer leaders.
Another highlight to look out for is the 100 Dinners Exhibition by Royston Tan. This video exhibition featuring 100 families in Singapore sharing everyday meals at home. It captures how simple moments of shared meals deepens family bonds and reflects the diversity of Singapore’s social fabric.
The NFF 2026 Family Carnival @ EXPO takes place on 30 and 31 May, 10 am to 7 pm at Hall 3 1 Expo Drive, Singapore 486150.
More National Family Festival Events and Activities Islandwide

NFF 2026 will also feature a month-long line-up of partner events and activities by corporates, community organisations and other government agencies islandwide.
These include a series of community activations at CapitaLand Malls, Frasers Properties and community spaces islandwide.
Families with young children through to tweens and teens can also sign up for parent-child bonding activities co-created with Social Service Agencies and FFL@Community partners. These activities include drumming, bouldering, water parks, carnivals, and more.
Family-friendly events and deals also provide opportunity for families to dine, shop and play together, deepening bonds and ties.
