In the spirit of giving, McDonald’s Singapore delivered hot meals to 20 lower-income Muslim families for them to break their fast together on 11 April 2022.

20 McDelivery riders delivered over 80 sets of McDonald’s Chicken McCrispy and drinks to the families who are beneficiaries of 4PM, a non-profit social service organisation in Singapore.

This Ramadan, in the spirit of giving, we’re delighted to partner 4PM and reach out to Muslim families in need with our food. Hot meals for breaking fast is a given to many of us but not for all, and we hope a small gesture on our part will bring some comfort and joy,” said Faz Hussen, General Counsel & Legal Director, Legal, McDonald’s Singapore.

“Personally, the biggest gift you can give yourself is to fill someone’s bowl. Such a gesture brings the greatest of fulfillments one could get during this blessed Ramadan. We are very much humbled to receive such generosity in partnership with McDonald’s. The benefitting families would entirely feel grateful for their iftar,” said Abu Bakar Sidiq, Head of Agency, Malay Youth Literary Association (4PM).
