Go Green SG returns for its 4th year, from 11 May to 28 June 2026, with hundreds of activities by some 500 partners! And with Go Green SG happening during the June school holidays, it is the perfect opportunity for families to dive into a line-up of fun, meaningful and kid-friendly activities together. 

From exclusive tours and behind-the-scenes adventures to interactive workshops and hands-on experiences, Go Green SG offers plenty of exciting ways for families to explore sustainability in action.

These programmes also shine a light on how all of us can play a part in building a greener, liveable and more climate-resilient Singapore, making each activity not only enjoyable but inspiring too!


Go Green SG 2026: The Year of Climate Adaptation – Never Too Late To Teach Kids What Climate Change Means And How We Can Adapt Today!

Led by the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE), Go Green SG is a whole-of-nation movement to rally citizens, businesses and the community to make a difference towards a more environmentally sustainable Singapore.

What’s more, this year’s Go Green SG has a special focus on Climate Adaptation, with  specially curated activities that help participants understand how climate change impacts all of us and how everyone can prepare and protect themselves through climate adaptation.

1. Blueprints of the Ocean (Fish Ecology + Gyotaku Workshop)

Blueprints of the Ocean (Fish Ecology + Gyotaku Workshop)

Gyotaku is the traditional Japanese art of fish printing. During this workshop, you will make use of real by-catch fish and special ink to create detailed prints of intricate scale and fin patterns. You will also take away a greater respect for marine life, an appreciation of sustainable fishing practices and a better understanding of our relationship with nature.

2. Empower Young Minds on Climate Change & Disaster Preparedness eBooks

Empower Young Minds on Climate Change & Disaster Preparedness eBooks

Ever wondered how to engage your kids on the topic of climate change? The Singapore University of Social Sciences, in collaboration with COPE Disaster Champions, has come up with free eBooks filled with storytelling, animations and interactive quizzes that introduce kids to important environmental topics like climate change and how to prepare for disasters. The eBooks also help inculcate a sense of environmental responsibility and are ideal for children aged 6 to 12.

From Cling Wrap to Carry: Turning Plastic Waste into Everyday Bags

What do you do with cling wrap after using it? Discover how it can be turned into something useful in a hands-on, plastics upcycling workshop. Clean, layer, and fuse the cling wrap to turn it into hard sheets. Then decorate it with colour patterns and textures and showcase your creativity! Your custom-designed sheet will then be transformed into a personalised tote bag for you.

Sustainability in Mandai Talk & Tour

Get an engaging look at Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s sustainable operations and biodiversity protection efforts, focusing on how they conserve wildlife, habitats and resources. Enjoy a guided tour through the stunning green spaces of Mandai Wildlife West and discover its sustainability features. You will learn more about how sustainability and biodiversity address climate change and how everyone can take meaningful action to live more sustainably.

5. Seeds of Change Carnival: Growing a Greener Community

Seeds of Change Carnival: Growing a Greener Community

What happens when fun and green learning combine? You get a community carnival filled with interactive and meaningful experiences about sustainability! Explore activity zones focused on themes like waste reduction, climate adaptation and food resilience. Then, take part in hands-on activities like a recycling sorting challenge and upcycling craft stations. Complete the activities to earn “Green Coins” and exchange them for green plants to bring home and continue the sustainability journey!

6. Fact or Fiction: Renewable Energy Edition – Werewolf/Avalon-Style Game Session

Fact or Fiction: Renewable Energy Edition – Werewolf/Avalon-Style Game Session

Step into exciting roles as a Citizen, Fraudster, Greenwasher, Auditor or POFMA Officer and put your knowledge about renewable and clean energy to the test at an exciting game-style session at Science Centre Singapore. Together with your teammates, separate fact from fiction and lead the way to victory. You will even be rewarded with a special token prize for completing the quest!

Ever thought there could be a farm right inside a hotel? On this tour, discover the distinctive qualities of plants grown in Fullerton Hotel’s edible garden and explore urban biodiversity right at the farm! Go behind the scenes to learn about local cultivation and how it can support more sustainable food practices.

8. Plant Your Own Microgreens Workshop

Plant your own Microgreens Workshop - Go Green SG 2026

Always dreamt of growing your own vegetables at home? Plant your own microgreens in this hands-on workshop and bring them home to watch them grow! You will also get to enjoy a small salad bowl to learn how microgreens can be used in healthy recipes.

Climate Adaptation

Learn about the impacts of climate change and how we can prepare and protect ourselves through an interesting lineup of activities revolving around the theme of climate adaptation!

9. Grounds for Change Tour with Composting Workshop

Grounds for Change Tour with Composting Workshop

What do a hospital, a sheltered pedestrian network, a cup of kopi, and used coffee grounds have in common? They’re all part of how Singapore is adapting to climate change! Think heat adaptation, green healthcare design, circular economy practices, composting innovation and biodiversity protection, integrated into the spaces around us.

Embark on a 2.5-hour immersive sustainability experience to observe for yourself the practical solutions to climate change, right in the heart of Jurong. Then, take part in a hands-on composting workshop by repurposing used coffee grounds.
