An array of activities await the whole family at Gardens by the Bay during the March 2024 school holidays. From 9 to 17 March, families and kids can enjoy free nature and sustainability tours, planting workshops and dinosaur mascot meet-and-greets, among other activities at March Fun in the Gardens. 

The activities at March Fun in the Gardens will engage the young ones as they learn more about Gardens by the Bay’s unique flora and fauna.

Children’s Nature-themed Art & Learning Activities

Whats on at March Fun in the Garden at Gardens by the Bay Children's Nature-themed Art & Learning Activities

Learn about the flora, fauna and other interesting facts of Gardens by the Bay through colouring and word search activities! These activities are suitable for children between the ages of three and 10.

Activities take place on Sunday, 10 March 2024 and Friday, 15 March to Sunday, 17 March 2024, from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm at the foyer beside main ticketing counter outside Flower Dome

Activities are free on a first come, first served basis. No registration is required.


Get Crafty! – Monster Headband by 32 cm

Get Crafty! – Monster Headband by 32 cm

Step into the whimsical realm of monster crafting and breathe life into your own unique wearable creatures!

Whether you’re crafting solo or with friends and family, the tactile experience of mixing and matching opens up a universe of creative possibilities. So, craft wildly and watch your little monsters come to life!

This takes place on Saturday, 9 March 2024 to Sunday, 10 March 2024, 10 am to 6 pm at the Australian Garden in Flower Dome. On-site registration is required and slots are available on a first come, first served basis. 

The activity takes about 15 minutes to complete and costs $12 per pax (Fee includes materials).

Admission charge to Flower Dome applies and children under 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult. 


Dino March

Dino March

This March, swing by the dinosaur-themed Jurassic Nest Food Hall and catch new dinosaur additions to the current family of a T.rex, Brachiosaurus and Oviraptor!

Head down on March 9 and 10 for a Dino March to welcome the new members, where dino mascots will make a special appearance to greet diners!

The timings to take note of are Saturday, 9 March to Sunday, 10 March 2024, 12 pm to 12.30 pm, 6 pm to 6.30 pm at Jurassic Nest Food Hall.


Nature and Sustainability Tours

Nature and Sustainability Tours

This March school holidays 2024, visitors will have more opportunities to experience Gardens by the Bay’s everpopular Nature and Sustainability Tours!

Discover the many unique sustainability features at Gardens by the Bay and learn about the important role of our natural environment through eye-opening tours led by Gardens by the Bay’s guides.

Usually available on Saturdays and Sundays only, visitors can look forward to an additional 10 weekday slots covering the themes of Biodiversity and Ecosystems, and Seeds and Senses (separate tours for Smell and Touch), where they will journey through the lesser-known parts of Gardens by the Bay and learn about biodiversity and sustainability using real examples found in the Gardens.

Tours are free for all Singaporeans and local residents.


Blue Pea Flower Planting Workshop

Join a blue pea planting workshop, where you will learn how to plant it, as well as nurture it to bloom.

You will also get to learn more about the pretty – and edible – flower’s various uses.

End the session with a guided tour of Gardens by the Bay’s community garden at the Active Garden!

This activity takes place on Friday, 15 March 2024, 9 am to 10 am, 10.30 am to 11.30 am at the Waterfront Plaza, Active Garden. Admission is free and online registration is required with slots available on a first come, first served basis.

Each workshop is limited to 40 participants and participants are required to be 7 years old and above.
