If you enjoy making crafts as well as checking out different areas of Singapore, pay a visit to Sunshine & Love, a local artisan home studio located 5 minutes away from Queenstown MRT station. They focus on creating bespoke craft workshop experiences.
For February and March, Sunshine & Love is starting a new series of workshops entitled, “Craft With Love” that are specially designed for families and friends along with curious individuals who want to try their hand at creating some unique Arts and Crafts.
Participants will be learning how to make one of two types craft: An Alice in Wonderland Jar Lamp and a Paint A Dessert Cup.
Paint A Dessert Cup At Sunshine & Love
The Paint A Dessert Cup workshop was inspired by Sunshine & Love’s fondness for the Queenstown neighbourhood as well as local handcrafted food and handmade crafts.
Collaborating with Geometry, a local gelato maker, visitors can try their hand at the unique craft experience of glass painting. At the end of the session, students will not only get to bring home their unique creations but the will also get to eat some creamy gelato goodness and bring home a tub in their favourite flavour of gelato.
Alice in Wonderland Jar By Sunshine & Love
For those looking for a workshop with a little more magic and interaction, the Alice in Wonderland Jar is designed especially with kids in mind.
This workshop was inspired by a birthday party that Sunshine & Love designed for her niece’s first year birthday. Participants will be guided through a step-by-step process to put together their jar lamp with glass paints, fairy lights and Sunshine & Love’s limited-edition Alice in Wonderland paper cuts.
Lessons are held at Sunshine & Love craft studio 50 Strathmore Avenue. For more details such as prices and dates, visit the site here.
