The iconic Jewel Changi Airport continues to sparkle as it welcomes a series of new brands in the coming weeks. There will be a total of nine F&B outlets, offering a variety of Halal options and cuisines such as Western, Chinese and Japanese. There will also be two retail stores added to cater to the shoppers at Jewel. Some of the brands offer visitors to the airport a way to escape to spots that were only available overseas before.
New Brands Opening First Outlets In Jewel
One of the brands opening at Jewel is Tai Er. This established chain’s signature dish is sauerkraut fish, a popular Sichuan dish in China that packs a punch with its spicy and sour broth. This will be Tai Er’s first outlet in Singapore.
Another first is Hong Kong’s well-known ‘cha chaan teng’ Tsui Wah. A spot that many Singaporeans would travel overseas to visit, diners can easily savour its ever-popular Cantonese delights such as the signature toast and milk tea starting October.
Satisfy cravings from different cuisines in Jewel
For those looking for a taste of Japanese Curry, Monster Planet will be opening and add to more than 20 halal-certified food options currently available at Jewel.
Mamma Mia! will also be opening their restaurant to serve authentic Italian fare with its artisanal handmade pastas, paired with the freshest ingredients and made à la minute. Other than the classic Italian pastas, there will also be fusion dishes such as linguine with Japanese mentaiko-tobiko cream sauce, mee pok with chicken chunks and onsen egg, as well as linguine with spicy chicken katsu and Japanese curry.
There will also be French Roast Chicken served at Poulet Bijouare which will commence operations in October. Poulet Bijou will spot a new look at their Jewel outlet, decked out with hints of contemporary blue, tropical and botanic motifs. Its all-day dining menu will be expanded to include French favourites such as savoury French crepes and sweet galettes.
One of the spots already in operation is NY Verden Bar & Grill. The jewel outlet is designed to have an open-concept kitchen featuring two gastronomic Josper grills, giving patrons a visual treat of the modern European dishes being prepared as they dine.
Other new brands located in Jewel’s Basement 2 include Aburi-En, SF Fruits and Yole.
