There are also chances to enter the large vehicles to learn more about the work of the Guardians. For instance, there is a drug busting bus educating all on the dangers of drug-use, and visitors can get a personalised card acknowledging their efforts to stamp out drug abuse!

Ninja Obstacle CourseFor the children who love to have some “ninja warrior” action, they must try the Ninja obstacle course which is a junior version of the popular “ninja warrior” course soon to be unveiled at the new Khatib Clubhouse. This course is for children above 1.2m.

Little Day Out Favourites for Home Team Festival 2019

Little Day Out Favourites for Home Team Festival 2019We enjoyed the 4D presentations, trick eye installations and the forensics demonstration the most! The 4D presentations were held in three different theatres and we were ushered to each theatre to witness how the Central Narcotics Bureau, Singapore Civil Defence Force, Singapore Customs Officers and Singapore Prison Services work together to ensure drug crimes are halted and convicts are properly rehabilitated.

The children were just glued to the entire presentation which was enhanced with lights, sounds and realistic setups. Yes, crime does not pay, children.

Viewing a Crime Scene at the Home Team Festival 2019We also had a chance to see a “crime scene” of an armed robbery and gun attacks. Forensics officers explained how evidence was gathered at each scene. Forensic lights are also used to identify traces of evidence unseen by the naked eye. Did you know that physical evidence is usually numbered while blood or any liquid evidence is labelled with alphabets?
