Good news for little ones who enjoy playing at the Changi Airport Hello Kitty, Sanrio-themed playground – it is reopening.

Both the Sanrio-themed Playground and Slide@T3 at Changi Airport Terminal 3 will be reopening on Friday, 4 September 2020 after having been closed down during the Circuit Breaker period earlier this year.

Sometimes referred to as the Hello Kitty playground at Changi Airport, it is a free play spot at Terminal 3 Basement 2 and popular with families with young children.

The play area features a variety of Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, and is designed for children between ages of 2 to 5 years old.

The Slide@T3 is the tallest slide in an airport. It actually consists of two tubular slides – one starting from Basement 2 and the other starting at the Arrival Hall level. The taller slide is 12 metres tall or four storeys high. It has been closed since 27 March 2020.

When the Slide@T3 reopens on 4 September 2020, Changi Rewards members will simply need flash their loyalty card for up to 10 free rides on the taller slide!

4 September 2020 is the start of the one-week school holidays in Singapore.

Normally, Changi Airport would have large-scale activities for families during the school holidays. This year, due to the current COVID-19 situation, activities are a bit more muted but there are still various promotions and specials taking place during the holiday period.
