Formula 1 Exhibition is in Singapore for the Singapore Grand Prix season. It opens to the public from 23 July 2026. Easily accessible from to the Gardens by the Bay MRT Station, the exhibition offers a well presented look at the stories behind F1’s history, present and future.
These are presented across seven rooms or galleries at the exhibition.

Formula 1 Exhibition in Singapore at Gardens by the Bay
Once Upon a Time in Formula 1
The first gallery at Formula 1 Exhibition provides an introduction to the sport with a jouney through some of Formula 1’s more defining moments.
You can view artefacts and watch footage of key moments in F1’s history through the decades.
Three F1 cars anchor this gallery, including Alain Prost’s Williams FW15C from 1993 and Kimi Räikkönen’s Lotus E21 from 2013.
Revolution by Design
Trace the development and design of F1 cars over time in the Revolution by Design gallery of the Formula 1 Exhibition.
Discover the contributions of builders like McLaren, Ferarri and many others to the sports. The exhibition displays present how the shape of the cars have changed over time, with the introduction of innovations like the wing and other now-familiar elements of today’s F1 cars.
Design Lab
Learn how a modern F1 car comes together in the factory-themed Design Lab room.
Centred around a Red Bull Racing RB7, 2011, this gallery offers a look into different parts and components that make up an F1 car. Here, you can learn about everything from the power units that propel cars to speeds of up to 370kph, its tires that all it to hug the road and components that keep drivers safe in the cockpit.
Drivers & Duels
But of course Formula 1 is about more than just the machines – it is about the drivers to race them around circuits of the world.
The Drivers & Duels gallery traces how drivers get their start and also features a collection of the racing helmets and other unique items and memorabilia.
There are also interactive points, for example, where you can digitally “dress up” in your favourite team’s racing gear.
Survival
Survival is a rare opportunity to get an upclose look at parts of Romain Grosjean’s car from his 2020 crash in Bahrain, which sparked a discussion about driver and track safety. Thankfully, Grosjean was able to walk away from the insane fireball crash that took place during the opening lap of the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix race.
Pit Wall
This room draws you into the sights and sounds of an F1 race. Exciting visuals and sounds will take you through a race from start to the finish line and winner’s podium.
Singapore Drive
Take a walk along a corridor that celebrates the Singapore Grand Prix and the contribution that Singapore has made to the motorsport.
Shop
You can also pick up official merchandise, apparel and more at the shop at the end of the exhibition.
Driving Simulator: The Fastest Lap
To fully immersed into the F1 experience, you can try out a driving simulator and experience sitting behind the wheel of an F1 car.
This is a chance to take on the Singapore Grand Prix circuit and drive around the street circuit at night.
The simulator last for approximately seven minutes.
There is no age limit but users must meet a minimum height requirement of 1.3 metres. Do also take note that children are not allowed to sit on an adult’s lap.
Formula 1 The Exhibition – The Details
When: From 23 July to 2 August, Formula 1 The Exhibition is open daily from 11 am to 9 pm (last session at 9 pm). From 3 August, standard hours are 11 am to 8 pm (last session at 8pm).
Tickets for Formula 1 The Exhibition are $29 for children (ages 5 to 12), $40 for ages 13 to 17, and from $49 for adults (18+). For a full list of ticket options, including flexible ticketing options and concession pricing, check the event’s ticketing page.
Where: It is located directly between Satay by the Bay and Marina Barrage. It is in a purpose-built marquee on the Eastern Greenway of Gardens by the Bay.
Getting there: It it directly outside Exit 1 of Garden By the Bay MRT Station (TE22). The closest parking is at Satay by the Bay.
