For a limited time, Minion fans can celebrate and say “Bello!” to all things related to the iconic yellow characters that first appeared in the animated series Despicable Me. The two-story Minion Cafe Singapore is filled Minion-themed posters, wall decorations, life-size figurines and even an entire photo booth.
The Minion Cafe Singapore is based on the iconic “MINION SUMMER CAFÉ” operated by PARCO Japan in PARCO Ikebukuro, PARCO Nagoya and PARCO Shinsaibashi. Guests at the Clarke Quay pop up space will find themselves surrounded by Minion artwork and select Minion-themed dishes.
Minion Café Singapore Menu Items
As with most themed cafes, diners can look forward to a menu that is both picture perfect and delicious. Apart from the dishes based on PARCO Japan’s menu, new Singapore-inspired dishes were specially created for the local palate and Minions fans alike.
Some recommended dishes that diners can look forward to including a Minion Big Pan Breakfast which consists of a plant-based Beyond sausage and sides such as sautéed portobello mushrooms, avocado, golden brown tater tots and toasted sourdough bread.
Other locally-inspired dishes at the Minion Cafe Singapore also include a Minion Kelong Prawn & Scallop Pizza which is topped with mascarpone, gooey mozzarella cheese and a vibrant green pesto, as well as a Minion Pumpkin Mantou with Chilli Crab Meat Dip.
Lastly, look forward to a dessert inspired by one of the Minion’s favourite fruit: the banana. The Minion Banana Boat is made with a soft sponge cake adorned with bananas, corn flakes, mango whipped cream, blueberries and scoops of pink strawberry and cotton candy ice cream.
Exclusive Minion Merchandise at the Minion Café Singapore
The pop-up café also offers exclusive merchandise. There will be collectables and memorabilia from Japan as well as Minion merchandise from across the South East Asia region. Some pieces to look out for include a gacha key chain, ‘Bob’ mascot key chain, Minion rolled sticky memo and more.
The Minion Café Singapore will open from 28 October 2021 to 2 January 2022 from 11 am to 10 pm. It is located at 3A River Valley Road, Merchant’s Court, #01-01C to 01D, Block A Clarke Quay, S179020.
