Families who enjoy adrenaline pumping motoring activities are in for a treat, with Dorifto! opening in Singapore on 16 April 2026.

Inspired by Japanese touge driving, the indoor drift track is designed to be accessible even for beginners, while still offering enough excitement to make it genuinely fun. Touge, pronounced toe-geh, means “mountain pass” in Japanese and refers to the winding, narrow roads found in Japan’s mountains, known as the birthplace of specialised street drifting and racing.

Dorifto! is designed with easy to operate mini cars that have integrated safety bumpers, and barriers all along the track. The cars handle differently from a go-kart or ride-on car for kids. A slight turn of the steering wheel causes the rear of the vehicle to swing out a little, and drivers slide into the drift.

It’s simple enough for kids to manage, yet challenging enough to appeal to adults. All it took was a few laps for everyone to get the hang of the controls. Watching the mini cars slide around with such smoothness reminded me of penguins on ice!

What to Expect at Dorifto!

What to Expect at Dorifto!

The track, conveniently located within the carpark at level 6A of Velocity @ Novena Square, is thoughtfully dressed up to feel like a mountain road in Japan, complete with lush greenery, signboards and backdrops that create the impression of drifting through a touge course instead of an indoor venue. Do dress light though, as the venue is not air-conditioned and with all that adrenaline pumping, you might feel rather warm.

The mini drift cars are modeled after actual car models. Car enthusiasts may recognise names like the Toyota AE86 and Mazda RX-7, a nod to Initial D and Japanese car culture, while younger car lovers (such as my 7 year old) would simply be excited by being able to drive their own vehicle and getting to choose between the cute white and yellow cars.

Dorifto! experience appeals to all ages

The Dorifto! experience appeals to all ages. Unlike child-centric activities like kiddy ride-on cars, or adult-centric go-karting, Dorifto! promises fun for both children and adults alike, within the same venue and on the same track. You can also hold private events here – a birthday party, perhaps?
