Art has always been part of the ION Orchard experience. In keeping with this, the Orchard Road mall has collaborated with Singapore fashion illustrator and watercolour artist Grace Ciao to produce a series of stylish and sophisticated illustrations outlining the
mall’s enhanced safety measures.

“I’m elated to have the opportunity to use my craft to help communicate crucial information in this trying time. As a fan of ION Orchard brands, I’m pleased that my illustrations can lighten the heaviness and help add some certainty and peace of mind to shoppers like myself,” said Grace.

ION Orchard’s Safety Measures

As Singapore enters into Phase 2: Safe Transition of the post-Circuit Breaker period, ION Orchard has put in place necessary measures for shoppers. These include individual contact tracing using SafeEntry, mandatory temperature screening at all entry points, mask-wearing and safe distancing.

Frequent touchpoints around the mall, such as mail railings and escalators, are also being regularly disinfected. Hand sanitisers have also been placed around the mall.

In addition, shoppers at ION Orchard will be able to enjoy a variety of rewards and promotions, such as discounts at ION Orchard’s food and beverage stores for ION Rewards Members.

“As we progress towards Phase 2 safe transition, we are also working closely with our tenants to create a safe experience for all when the time comes, in line with the government’s safety guidelines. It is important that all shoppers have peace of mind at ION Orchard. In the meantime, we hope that shoppers will enjoy the rewards and promotions that we have in store for them,” said Yeo Mui Hong, Chief Executive of Orchard Turn Developments, which manages ION Orchard.
