East Coast Park and its beach have been long-time favourite destination for families. While not as visited as other spots such as Coastal PlayGrove and Marine Cove, Parkland Green at East Coast Park is still a nice lifestyle hub, especially for those who may want somewhere a little less busy that the other places.

Formerly the location of the Parkland Golf Driving Range, this low-rise development opened in September 2014 and features a mix of restaurants, casual cafes and sports retail shops. It is located at East Coast Park’s Area C, across the East Coast Parkway from Parkway Parade and Marine Parade.

Those seeking a caffeine fix can seek refuge at Starbucks at Parkland Green, along with bakery and bar St. Marc Café. St. Marc also offers food with mains like chops, steaks and pastas. Both of these establishments are long time tenants of Parkland Green. 

Those looking for something more substantial can choose from a variety of restaurants.

Jypsy Parkland Green

Cafe Football

Another establishment that embraces the sporty nature of the outdoors is Cafe Football. You can get some food and drinks and even watch football in the evenings.

Kebab Station at Parkland Green

Other restaurants include Patro’s Sports Bar & Restaurant, a Mexican and North Indian place that is a long-time stalwart at Parkland Green, and a Kebab Station, a Turkish restaurant.

However, the key attraction of the Parkland Green has to be the wide, open grassy lawn in front of the restaurants and cafes. Kids can run around the open space to their hearts’ content while parents can keep an eye on them from the shade of the nearby veranda.

Ernsports is a rollersports school that doesn’t just teach inline skating but also covers skateboarding and longboarding.

How to get there: Parkland Green is accessible on foot through the underpass from Marine Parade Central which is connected via covered walkway to Parkland Green and has a car park that can accommodate more than 300 cars.
