Just beside the Punggol Promenade Riverside at Punggol East, there is a little enclave along Tebing Lane where the Social Innovation Park and Punggol Container Park are located. Away from the usual bustle of Punggol Central, this is a place where you can relax and enjoy the breeze.

Food: Restaurants and Dining Outlets

There is nothing more local than to eat and the Tebing Lane enclave has a variety of restaurant and eateries that diners can choose from.

Amongst the restaurants found there are longtime stalwarts Whisk & Paddle and Uncle Leong Seafood. There is also D’Rubinah and Frienzie Bar & Bistro. These are housed in the buildings just beside the car park.

Punggol Container Park

For a more hipster vibe, head over to the Punggol Container Park just at the rear of Whisk & Paddle. Smacking of ArtBox style, the dining establishments located inside the metal containers include Big Fish Small Fish and Seoul Good.

At the other end of the compound, there is a lok-lok restaurant.


Archery

Archery at Punggol East, Social Innovation Park

There is an archery range run by Traditional Archers Singapore. Billed as Singapore’s first traditional archery club, Traditional Archers Singapore runs classes for both adults and children. Find out more about them here.


Prawning

Prawning - Hai Bin Punggol

For more sport, check out Hai Bin Punggol. Prawning rates are $20 for an hour or $36 for three hours. You can get a rod and while away the time trying to land a catch. There is a beer garden which opens till late too.


Farms

Farms

As part of Social Innovation Park’s Social Entrepreneurship and Eco-park Development or SEED, there is a farming community at Punggol East. The SEED farms include House of Plants, Little Botany and Julias Ng’s Orchids. If you are interested to visit them, you should contact them first.


Uncle Ringo’s Amusement Rides

Uncle Ringo’s Amusement Rides

At least till the end of 2021, you will find carnival operator Uncle Ringo at the Social Innovation Park. There are kiddy amusement rides and a dragon or dinosaur park where kids and families can view life-sized dinosaur. Uncle Ringo’s is only open on selected days so you may want to call ahead to check.
