Westscape @ Bukit Batok Playgrounds offer kids a chance to experience different forms of playscapes, from a netted climbing tower to a nature-themed playground.
The Netted Tower Playground at Westscape @ Bukit Batok
There are three playgrounds at Westscape @ Bukit Batok.
The one that stands out is the netted tower playground in front of Block 431B Bukit Batok West Avenue 8.
Made up of netting strung out on green and yellow poles, this tower playground looks as it is sprouting out from the ground.
It invites kids to venture upwards and there are a set of netted platforms for kids to use to climb up the tower to the second level.
From the top of this Westscape @ Bukit Batok playground, there is a grey tube slide that leads back to the soft padded ground.
This netted climbing tower is connected to a low climbing wall by a set of green cargo nets. Kids can will have plenty of fun climbing up the tower and horizontally to the wall. This is a good way for them to develop their gross motor skills like strength and coordination as they make their way around the playground.
Nature-themed Westscape @ Bukit Batok Playground
The second Westscape @ Bukit Batok Playground is made up of two brown and green structures.
Play panels on the structure sport a nature theme.
With multiple slides, climbing walls and bridges for kids to cross, there seem to be endless ways to explore the play structures.
Kids can even climb up some “roots” to get on to one of the play structures.
Another welcomed piece of play equipment at this Westscape @ Bukit Batok playground is a pair of swings.
Orange and Green Playground
In front of Block 432B, there is a third playground.
Kids can climb up little crates to get to the platform of this playground before making their way along the structure. There are also multiple slides leading down from the platform, providing plenty of choice for kids who want to get back to the ground.
Exercise Areas and Roof Garden
Besides the Westscape @ Bukit Batok playgrounds, other facilities at the estate include interesting-looking fitness stations.
Head up to the roof garden at the top of the multi-storey car park to find some garden swings where you can enjoy the view and the breeze in the evening time.
