Suit up to be a Little Toy Maker at Impressions Kids Club, where children can design a teddy bear’s T-shirt, decorate wooden toy vehicles and bring their creations home.

Launched on 1 November 2026, the new Toy Factory experience at Tanglin Mall combines hands-on activities, costume dressing and imaginative play at its indoor playground.

We dropped by to see what families can expect.

At the Toy Factory immersive workshop, children get to design a T-shirt for a teddy bear and colour their own choice of a wooden toy vehicle. Their finished creations come with a bag to bring home, while costumes are available for children to dress up as little toy makers.

Little Toy Makers at Work

During our visit, our younger children, aged three to four, needed some assistance with colouring. We helped by drawing broad strokes for them to trace, with varying degrees of success. Older children, however, were happy to work independently, carefully filling in their designs.

proud of their creations

We even overheard one child saying she planned to give her creations to friends for Christmas. A handmade gift, fresh from the Toy Factory.

The immersive workshop costs an additional $15 on top of Kids Club admission, with sessions at 10am, 1pm and 4pm.

Do note that the workshop takes place within the purchased playground time, rather than extending the play session. The older kids took up to 30 minutes while the younger ones scurried off to the indoor playground within 15 minutes leaving some perfectionist parents to complete their work.

Explore the Cosy Indoor Playground

Beyond the workshop, Impressions Kids Club offers a cosy indoor playground particularly suited to walking toddlers and younger children up to around six years old.

There is a dedicated toddler area and a selection of open-ended toys, including some lovely wooden playthings that encourage children to explore and invent their own games.

Two special rides add to the experience: the Hape Train Ride and the Rainbow Fish Ride, which caters to younger toddlers.

Both rides operate at fixed intervals throughout the day. No advance booking is required, but do check with the staff for the next ride timing.

The pretend play area here was particularly popular during our visit. With toys and accessories to spark imaginative play, children can create their own little adventures.

My three-year-old adopted a civet cat plushie, which she promptly declared was a cat. It accompanied her throughout our exploration of the indoor playground, including mealtime, before she returned to the pretend play area to find a packet of toy milk to feed her new companion.

Refuel With a Kids’ Meal

Families can purchase a kids’ meal for $12.90, with a choice of fish nuggets, chicken nuggets or a small pizza.

Each meal comes with a scoop of ice cream and a packet drink, with Ribena, orange juice and apple juice available.

Complimentary Meiji crackers and tea were also provided to all visitors at the lounge area.

Meals are charged separately from Kids Club admission and the immersive workshop.
