Learn About the Magic Behind Musicals
At The Music Circle’s three-day camp, The Magic of Musicals, children between 6 and 9 years old will be introduced to the much loved art form of musical theatre.
They will gain an appreciation of how music can be used to convey emotions in storytelling and explore musical elements such as character, mood, dynamics, articulation. They learn about the role of the orchestra, and engage in activities matching sound and visuals. Music and Drama performance concepts will be taught, and the children will have a chance to stage their own mini musical at the end of the camp.
