Bright yellow pods suspended above the ground characterise the Senja Woods playground. Located within the neighbourhood park along Senja Close, the playground is one of the facilities which residents can enjoy in the green park.
Senja Woods Playground: The Yellow Treehouses
Found within the southern end of the park, the Senja Woods playground’s main feature is its elevated playground. Raised up on green “stilts”, the yellow pods are interconnected by a series of netted mesh bridges.
Kids can make their way from pod to pod, scrambling around for a bit of fun.
At one end of the playground is a red tube slide that kids can enjoy as they make their way out of the elevated playground structure.
The Enchanted Jungle
For younger kids who are more apprehensive about climbing up through the netted tunnels, the Senja Woods playground also a small toddler playground that is suitable for younger ones.
A giraffe climbing board and a gorilla teeter-totter also provide additional play opportunities for younger kids.
There are also a pair of swings at the Senja Woods playground. This is complemented by a low hammock swing too.
Elsewhere around Senja Wood park, there is a futsal court and barbecue pits for residents to use. There is also an exercise area as well as sheltered areas around the green park.
