Can you believe that it has been 10 years since River Wonders opened its doors? To mark its first decade, River Wonders will be holding special activities from 28 February to 14 April 2024, including the introduction of a new Ranger Buddies Quest and a special second admission offer.
Previously known as River Safari, the wildlife park welcomed its first guests on 28 February 2014. 10 years later, River Wonders is celebrating its anniversary with a range of activities.
Here’s a look at the various activities at River Wonders’ 10th Anniversary Celebrations, which coincide with the March school holidays in Singapore.
Take note that many of these activities are only scheduled on weekends, school holidays and public holidays from 28 February to 14 April 2024.

River Wonders Explorer Bingo Sheet
Pick up a River Wonders Explorer Bingo sheet at the park entrance and check off the squares as you learn 10 fun facts about the park’s remarkable journey over the last decade!
For example, did you know that River Wonders participates in a manatee exchange programme which ensures healthy and sustainable populations of the species under human care?
Complete at least one row of the bingo grid to redeem an exclusive River Wonders explorer pin.
Ranger Buddies can redeem an additional exclusive gift when they complete the bonus activity, featuring Tucker, the Asian small-clawed otter.
Ranger Buddies Quest at River Wonders
First launched at Singapore Zoo together with KidzWorld, the Ranger Buddies Quest has made its way to River Wonders.
Rent a pair of smart binoculars at the River Wonders Entrance and dock them at any Ranger Buddies Quest outpost to start playing.
Children can set out on two missions where they will have to visit outposts around River Wonders and complete activities.
Young explorers will be immersed into the world of the giant river otter at the Ranger Buddies Quest outpost, where they can take on the role of the world’s largest otter.
This interactive experience provides an exciting opportunity for children to learn about the fascinating abilities of these remarkable creatures, which use their sensitive whiskers to suss out danger and detect prey.
Charges of $15 apply per binoculars.
New Limited Time Only Keeper Talks
River Wonders is introducing two new keeper talk sessions for its 10th anniversary celebrations — the Mekong Giant Catfish (2.50 pm on weekends, school holidays and public holidays from 28 February to 14 April 2024) and Wild Amazonia Trail Keeper Talks (3.30 pm on weekends, school holidays and public holidays from 28 February to 14 April 2024).
At the Wild Amazonia Keeper Talk, visitors can observe a keeper feeding the silver arowana and even have a go at it. This species is nicknamed “water monkey” as it can leap up to a whopping 2 metres above water to catch its prey.
Available for a limited time, guests can immerse themselves in the unique insights and stories about incredible creatures like the Mekong giant catfish, white-lipped tamarin and silver arowana.
Make it a hat trick by attending these two new keeper talks and the mainstay River Feeding Trail Keeper Talk (2.15 pm, daily). The three sessions are timed one after another.
River Wonders Ten(t) Retreat
At the exclusive overnight camping experience River Wonders Ten(t) Retreat, campers can look forward to guided tours of the Amazon Flooded Forest with an arapaima feeding demonstration.
There will also be an opportunity to roam the park before a hearty buffet at Night Safari and finally winding down for the night in a tent at the enchanting Amazon Flooded Forest.
The experience is available on selected dates in March and April 2024. Bring along your very own tent to pitch or rent one for the retreat.
