The Prudential Marina Bay Carnival 2018 / 2019 has arrived at the Bayfront Event Space beside Marina Bay Sands. From 22 December 2018 to 24 March 2019, experience the thrills of carnival rides from around the world and jubilance of winning at the game booths against the iconic backdrop of Singapore’s city skyline.

This is Prudential Marina Bay Carnival’s sophomore year in Singapore and here is what you can expect at the mega-carnival with 50 rides and game stalls by the bay.

Rides For Thrillseekers, Families & Little Ones

Whether you are looking for thrills, some family-bonding fun or simply amusements for little ones, the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival has a ride for you.

Mach 5, Prudential Marina Bay Carnival 2019Adrenaline-junkie will be pleased to know that favourites such as Das Fun Schiff, Mach 5 and the Starflyer have returned. Other familiar rides include the Euro Coaster, Jungle River and Shark Coaster.

New to the Prudential Marina Carnival this year (and raising the thrill metre) are the rides Wave Swinger, Freak Out and Jumper Jumper.

Wave Swinger

Wave Swinger, flown in from Italy, is a family-friendly thrill ride which occupies pride of place by the entrance of the Carnival. While starting tamely, hang on as the pace picks up and you go soaring through the air on this revolving ride.

Jumper Jumper

Jumper Jumper is another thrill ride which seems innocent enough at the start until it sends riders bouncing up-and-down like a bullfrog at a dance party.

Freak Out
Freak Out

Freak Out, also known as Spring Break, is a ride that thrill-seekers should seek out. It sends riders hurtling through the air on a wild, swinging ride.

Kiddie RidesThere are kiddie rides for little ones too. Kids can sit on the twirling Chairs, hitch a ride in Dumbo and take a drive on the Race O Rama.

Games to Test Your Skills and Luck

Carnival games at Prudential Marina Bay Carnival Dec 2018 to March 2019No carnival would be complete without carnival games.

At the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival, there is no shortage of carnival games. Test your luck and skill with games such as the Can Blaster, Catch A Fish and Hook A Bag.

Monthly Themes

This year’s Prudential Marina Bay Carnival will feature monthly themes which invite visitors to build lifelong memories together. These monthly themes are “Crazy”, “Loving” and “Epic”.

In line with the first theme of “Make Crazy Memories”, the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival will host a variety of programmes such as food challenges and themed dress contests. The first dress contest is based on the theme “Future-Forward” with visitors to the Carnival who are dressed according to theme standing a chance to win bonus credits. Food area at the Prudential Marina Bay Carnival 2018 to 2019Other promotions being held at the Carnival include Crazy Food Challenges in January 2019, with Bonus Credits to be won.

Performers will also be taking to the stage to entertain the crowds at the Carnival.

Prudential Marina Bay Carnival 2018 / 2019 – From 22 December 2018 to 24 March 2019

Carnival GroundsThe Prudential Marina Bay Carnival is now open from 4 pm to 11 pm daily, with extended hours till 2 am on New Year’s Eve, till 24 March 2019.

Admission to the Carnival grounds is free. The price of rides range from $6 to $14 and the price of games range from $5 to $8. Visitors will need to purchase an RFID card with a stored value to use at the rides and game stalls.
