Depending on the picture, players can put together a puzzle of more than a thousand pieces, although the jigsaw might be limited by size and design to only have 600 pieces. Still, you can choose the difficulty for each puzzle. For multiplayer games, players can change the colour of their curser so that it will not be confusing to have identical cursers across the screen.

Each time a puzzle piece is put in the right place, there will be a “click” sound to indicate that its position has been fixed. There is also a point system at the bottom left that keeps track of the number of pieces that specific players have clicked in their right place.

Chatting in Jigsaw Puzzles.io

There has been a new chat system supporting touch screens, on-screen keyboards, regular keyboards, and clicking on the chat with a mouse. There’s also a way of chatting very quickly for keyboard users, which is to press ‘Enter’, begin typing, and press ‘Enter’ again to send.

For those who wish to opt-out of any conversation, especially in public lobbies, there is a “Hide Chat” button next to the chat as well as a ‘Mute’ button for each player in the ‘Players’ menu.

Concluding thoughts on Jigsaw Puzzles.io

We enjoy using Jigsaw Puzzles.io for the variety of puzzles, the ease of navigation and that we can do it with friends and family from the comfort of our own individual home.

We also like the various categories and have had fun putting together pictures of cute animals, pictures of Singapore and pictures of yummy food. The puzzles are an actual challenge, which makes it more satisfying when we finish. We also really enjoy the sound effects such as clicks and snaps that are played when the puzzle pieces are moved. This is a fun activity to do over a zoom call when playing together with family or friends.
