If you are a fan of lion dance, then you have to make your way down to Ngee Ann City from 7 to 12 September 2026 where the 30th Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships 2026 is taking place.
Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships 2026
The Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships 2026 takes over the outdoor Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza from 7 to 12 September with different lion dance troupes taking on each other in a battle to be crowned the champions.
Watch talented teams go head-to-head in two categories – Traditional and Freestyle.
The Traditional category is what you would normally expect from a lion dance performance. However, the Freestyle category is where the troupes have the liberty to get creative and let their imagination run wild.
Nonetheless, in both categories, you look forward to spectacular performances that combine skill, agility and artistry in one of Singapore’s most exciting lion dance competitions.
