Fireworks will be returning as part of Singapore’s biggest countdown event, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2023. The popular display will be one of the programmes that the public can look forward to at the end of the year.

Absent over the last two-years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Marina Bay Countdown fireworks will illuminate the skies over the bay at midnight on 31 December. It has always been something which the public looks forward to and is a rousing way to welcome in a brand new year.

For those who can’t get enough fireworks, STAR ISLAND, the fireworks musical extravaganza, will be returning to The Float at Marina Bay. This year’s 70-minute, ticketed show will feature artisanal fireworks, performances and pyrotechnics.

For the first time, STAR ISLAND will extend to the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza with a special pre-show.

Share the Moment Light Projections

Light Projections At Marina Bay: Build A Dream In The Countdown To 2019

Another returning favourite of the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown that will be returning is the Share the Moment light projections. These will illuminate the facade of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and the Merlion on the last week of December.

The light projections at Marina Bay will be based on the theme “City of Good” and feature artworks from local educational institutions. It is presented in partnership with the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre and Giving.sg.


The Great Bay Fiesta

Adding to the buzz around Marina Bay at the year end will be The Great Bay Fiesta. Presented by The Show Master, an arm of Uncle Ringo, The Great Bay Fiesta will include a circus entertainment show, a carnival with rides and games and food fair with over 30 food stalls.


Chill Out & Entertainment Spots

After Hours @ The Lawn is a chill-out zone with larger-than-life games and playset, F&B booths and more. The Promontory will host Mediacorp’s Let’s Celebrate 2023 countdown concert.
