Craving a family holiday that is a little different? The Bus Collective at Changi Village might be just the ticket. Vintage buses have been transformed into cozy, quirky hotel rooms — making the experience just as fun for parents as it is for kids.
There are twenty buses at the 8,600-square-metre hotel, all retired Scania public buses previously operated by SBS Transit that has been repurposed into a luxury suite. You can also opt for a BBQ package so enjoy some grilled meats during your stay.

Ocean Dreams at Singapore Oceanarium
The private glamping tents at Singapore Oceanarium are set before the awe-inspiring backdrop in the Open Ocean zone, where manta rays, sharks and other marine wonders greet those on this interesting staycation. The interior is thoughtfully styled with cozy details and ambient lighting, the tent was furnished with air mattresses, axolotl cushions, blankets, towels, hair dryer and also well stocked with a snack and beverage basket. There is a dedicated activity corner that keeps little hands busy with crafts and activity sheets.
The interesting staycation experience includes guided tours that cover both the front-of-house and back-of-house, and it is a chance to roam about Singapore Oceanarium late into the night. The Ocean Gallery Standard Tent (sleeps up to four persons) cost $1,800 nett.
