
Want to get outdoors and appreciate the wonder of plants and flowers? From 23 to 31 August 2025, NParks is hold the Horticulture Festival, or HortFest in short, at HortPark, a celebration of the 20th anniversary of NParks’ Community in Bloom programme.
At HortFest, you can expect spectacular competition displays and horticultural showcases, and an exciting lineup of programmes and activities, such as guided garden tours, gardening workshops and demonstrations, and a marketplace.
Admission to HortFest is free.

Thinking of paying a visit to HortFest? There are several key highlights that you can look out for.
Competition Displays
Be captivated by extraordinary displays of gardening excellence. View prize-winning vegetables at the Community Garden Edible Competition display. This can be found at The Harvest Hall, setup at the atrium beside the driveway at HortPark.
For more horticultural excellence, visit the hall one level down. The Horticultural Competition showcases participants green thumbs across four plant categories: Air Plants, Aroids, Begonias and Succulents.
CIB20 Display and Exhibit
Make your way to the lawn and take a journey through two decades of community gardening milestones through these specially curated exhibits.
You can view various displays that feature plants, flowers and edibles. Art pieces are also incorporated into the Community in Bloom 20 Display.
Market Place

Discover gardening treasures, sustainable products and more. Take a walk through the market place where there will be garden essentials like quality plants and nursery products to tools, furniture and water features, and lifestyle & wellness products like nature-based wellness items, botanical teas and nature-inspired fashion.
Other things to look out for include home and darden décor like ornaments, furniture pieces and decorative accessories.
The Living Lab
Having plant pests and soil health issues? View the display at The Living Lab. Get expert advice at the Plant Health Clinic and learn practical solutions and gain insights to grow healthier plants. This is located next to the Harvest Hall just beside the drop-off driveway at HortPark.
School Showcase
Be inspired by innovative gardens created by schools like Singapore Polytechnic, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and ITE College East.
This School Showcase is tucked away along the road behind Canopy at HortPark.
Festival Programmes

Enjoy an exciting line-up of demonstrations, talks and performances by gardening experts and enthusiasts. View the list of HortFest progammes here.
In addition, there are various satellite programmes being held at other parks around Singapore such as Jurong Lake Gardens and Fort Canning Park.
Family Fun
Get hands-on with DIY gardening craft activities and more at the Event Lawn.
Twilight Evening
Enjoy music performances featuring local artists Budak Pantai (23 August) and Alicia Pan with Munir Alsagoff (24 August) at the Event Lawn.
Movie Screening
