Food Republic at Jewel Changi Airport has reopened and diners are invited to step into a scene out of a 1970s hawker street and savour from stalls at the food court that include 4 Michelin Bib Gourmand vendors and 10 Heritage Food stalls.
Food Republic, Jewel Changi Airport Food Court
Located at Basement 2 of the iconic Jewel Changi Airport, the Food Republic food court relaunched on 3 July 2026.
The decor of the Jewel Changi Airport food court draws inspiration from the neighbourhoods and communities in 1970s Singapore. This brings in a touch of Singapore’s traditional heritage and an air of nostalgia into the modern Jewel Changi Airport.

Look around and you feel transported back to the Singapore of old. Hanging street lights, a section that replicates five-foot walkways, old-style tables and posters that recall 1970s Singapore make it feel as if you are dining in the themed land.

There are even models of street cats around the food court, and we liked how there was even a glow coming from the faux grill next to the grilled chicken wing stall.
We also liked the traditional rattan kid’s high chairs that were in keeping with the rest of food court.
There are also a couple of photo spots located within the Jewel food court, including that of an old-time calligraphy writer at the rear and a vendor selling ice balls at the entrance.
Take a moment to appreciate details such as the slipper stickers at each stall that indicate where to queue.
And to tie in with the heritage decor, Food Republic has stalls – some of which can trace their recipes back as far as the 1960s – that offer local delights, including nasi padang, fishball noodles, char-grilled chicken wings and Peranakan-style curry.
In addition, Food Republic @ Jewel Changi Airport also has four Michelin Bib Gourmand styles, providing a breadth of options for food lovers. These include Michelin Bib Gourmand MP Thai’s first food court outlet, as well as the first-in-Singapore outlet of Hong Kong-based Ai Shan Claypot Rice, famed for its Hunan flavours and consistently crispy rice crust in every serving.
The food stalls at Food Republic Jewel Changi Airport offer a tour de force of all the local must-try dishes, and more.
