Established in 2013, Edith Patisserie is a local bakery specialising in layered cakes, brownies and other sweet treats. They have a cake bar located a short walk away from Dhoby Ghaut MRT station that now lets customers enjoy their bakes on-site.
They also have a second outlet at North Bridge Road which is used as a pickup point for online preorders and takeaways.
The bakery is named in memory of the founder Ethel’s mother. Her mother passed away when she was 18 and she hopes that the humble philosophy of the bakery does her mother proud.

Customers who walk into the cake bar will be greeted by deep forest-green and grey walls with wooden tables and concrete like tables too.
There is also the décor of dried flowers and a single seat with a neon sign that has the words “Whisk Me Away”.
Review of baked goods at Edith Patisserie Cake Bar
Edith Patisserie Cake Bar carries a variety of baked goods that customers can enjoy on-site. There is also coffee, tea and juices to pair with the various foods. We tried a lemon cake, a matcha brownie and a salted caramel brownie. We also ordered a cup of lychee tea and a Ruby Peach, which is a Peach tea with ruby peach puree.
We enjoyed how moist and tart the lemon cake was and the hints of the floral after taste from the dried flowers. The brownies were also very decadent and we liked that the portions were bite-sized thus allowing us to savour more flavours. The tea was refreshing and paired well with the baked goods.
