From 1 to 23 June 2013, families and children will be entertained by the many programmes and activities being held at the Jurong Bird Park during the school holiday weekends.

Singaporeans, PRs, and Employment Pass and Study Permit Holders will also be able to enjoy a 1-for-1 promotion for entry into the Park from 24 May to 30 June 2013 by flashing a coupon found on the Park’s website.

Dora and Diego Meet-and-Greet

Meet Dora and Diego from Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go! Join them for a 30 minute meet-and-greet session at the Pools Amphitheatre at 12.30 pm every weekend in June.

Explorer of the 5 Continents

Pick up a Jurong Bird Park Kid’s Explorer Kit with a “passport” and navigate around the Park to pick up stamps while visiting exhibits of birds from Australia, South America, Antarctica, Asia and Africa!

Meet the Bird Stars

Dora and Diego are not the only stars you can meet at the Park. Come face-to-face with feathered stars such as the hornbill at 1.45 pm at the Penguin Coast.

Dr Squawk’s Expedition

Follow Dr Squawk on an expedition around the Park as she searches for her feathered friends. For children between the ages of 5 to 12 years old. The expedition starts at 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm at the Breeding and Research Centre. Pre-registration online is required or at the venue 15 minutes before the start of the expedition.

Immersive Programmes

For children who want even more, the Jurong Bird Park will be offering additional programmes during the school holidays.

Older children between 10 to 12 years old can take part in “Be a Junior Avian Keeper” on 7 June to experience what it like to care for birds, including preparing feed and enrichments. This programme is priced at $250.00 per child.

Children between 6 and 12 years old can sign up for the 3-Day Bird Quest Camp from 12 to 14 June. The day camp will allow them to get upclose with feathered friends and to learn more about birds, including how the make nests and how feathers help in flight. The programme is priced at $250.00 per child.

Members of the Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, River Safari and Singapore Zoo are entitled to 10% off the published rates.
