See the world through Cookie Monster’s googly eyes with his new book Cookie Monster’s Guide to Life – The Joy of Cookies.

Anyone who loves Sesame Street will love Cookie Monster’s Guide to Life – The Joy of Cookies.

A Freshly Baked Sheet

In the book, Cookie Monster displays a range of vocabulary beyond what we are normally used to hearing from him.

While he is most often heard articulating a single word multiple times as he messily munches down a round confection, in The Joy of Cookies, he writes almost-grammatical sentences like “Me secret ingredient for cookie is love. And a tiny bit of sea salt on top”.

In fact, The Joy of Cookies is chockful with little (chocolate) chips of wisdom. I particularly loved his many Cookie Crumbs of Wisdom scattered throughout the book.

Many of these precious pearls of wisdom reflect his deeply-philosophical thoughts and include shining gems like, “To eat cookies or not to eat cookies…There is no question.”

However, The Joy of Cookies is more than just a collection of sweet musings. It also functions as a practical baking guide. In the book, Cookie Monster also shares a number of cookie recipes, including how to make his famous cookie dough.

Life, Friendship and Cookies

The Joy of Cookies by Cookie Monster

Cookie Monster’s Guide to Life – The Joy of Cookies is a light-hearted look at life, friendship and baking. Its pages are beautifully filled with pictures of Cookie Monster, his friends from Sesame Street and, of course, plenty of cookies.

The whimsical book is sure to bring a smile to your face, even if you are feeling as blue as Cookie Monster’s fur. It will appeal to both little children and “older children” who still adore Cookie Monster.

Now, please excuse me while I go and look for a cookie.
