A treat will be the sight of dazzling floats passing by the Tampines neighbourhoods, making their way around the estate. There will be 17 community co-created mini floats with Tampines Town’s very own futuristic Year of the Rabbit float.

Another highlight will be the fireworks planned for  the evening at Our Tampines Hub.

Other entertainments that Tampines residents can expect include a night of getai at the Heartlands Celebrations’ 上台就开心 – The Happy Concert. This evening show will be hosted by local celebrities Marcus Chin and Lim Peifen, and guest performer 小黑 (Raju Kumara) at the Town Square.

Adding to the festivities at the Chingay@Heartlands celebrations at Tampines will be roving stilt walkers and performers mingling with families and friends at the Town Square.

Families can head down to Festive Walk East for a peek into what the Year of the Rabbit has in store for their Chinese zodiac. In the evening, they will also enjoy the colourful and festive light up of illuminated gigantic lantern with their families and friends.
