For those of you who are interested in golf, you can now look to sign up for a tee-rific time with your child at 15th Club Golf Studio, located in The Cathay. Mostly, this place is serious about helping you better your own or your child’s golf game.
Firstly, I must say how taken I am with the name of this place- I love puns, and this one takes it to a whole other level. Golfers recognize the usual necessary 14 clubs you carry in that bag of yours but have you noticed you needed this other club…? The social club is what you’ve been missing!
15th Club: A Family-friendly Golfing Spot
I brought my 8 year old to try out the hi-tech facilities at 15th club, and she had the most enjoyable time hitting and practising her swings with the guidance of Coach Nick. It was our first time trying out simulator play.

Social Emphasis of 15th Club
The place feels clean cut, fresh, and designed to put you on relax mode. This begins with the bar counter right at the front of the space. They made an iced chocolate with marshmallows for my daughter- she was so pleased with it!
There is purposeful seating within the space. There is a row of chairs that line the public area. Further inside, there are 3 or 4 small round tables that allow you to sit with friends with a drink and to chat. This area is also able to open out into a back area that is breezy and pet friendly.
There are also 4 private rooms that are available for you to book. They can accommodate 6 to 8 people in the larger room and about 4 to 6 in the smaller rooms. These rooms have comfortable sofas and are all equipped with the high technology coaching tools that will analyze your game.
Academy Focus at 15th Club
I thought it was particularly helpful to have an idea of where the club face hit the ball with each shot. This allowed immediate correction of the posture and habits that you could have developed over time without knowing it.
Besides the technology, we also got to experience first-hand coaching available at 15th club.
Coach Nick was patient and able to simplify things by focusing on one or two things that would improve our game. I can see how there will be potential progress for any student, given my brain often had a million things to speed through when I previously practiced at the range.
My daughter was able to follow his instructions and was encouraged to keep trying her hand at golf through the simulator games that they played.
Lastly, she was able to practise putting on a little strip of green near the seating area outside the private rooms.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience with 15th club. I loved that adults who do not golf would also feel completely welcome to enjoy the space with their golfing child, allowing them to support them without having to excuse themselves from the learning space.
Rates & Equipment at 15th Club Golf Studio
It is also nice to know that junior golfers (under 18 years old) get 10% off all coaching rates.
They offer a variety of programmes, from introductory and developmental lessons to private and semi-private coaching. You can bring your own equipment, but my daughter was able to use the cutest junior golf sets that they provided.
Introductory lessons start from $109 per session and packages of 10, 15 or 20 sessions can be purchased.
As the golf community in Singapore grows, it’s great to have access to an all-weather friendly 15th club where you can always have a par-TEE!
