Learn some essential life-saving skills at Red Cross Academy Singapore’s November and December 2025 School Holiday Programme. Join in the fun, hands-on Junior First Aid workshops in home safety, outdoor safety and water safety. Score an exclusive Snoopy badge once all three courses are completed

Each programme is 4 hours long and suitable for children ages 7 to 12. For home safety, children will be equipped with practical First Aid knowledge to stay safe and confident at home. They will learn the basics of First Aid, how to pack a First Aid kit and important phone numbers to dial when there is an emergency through guided, hands-on activities.They will also practise handling everyday injuries – from burns and falls to choking and nosebleeds and gain awareness of CPR and AED use.

Outdoor safety is about building confidence outdoors with practical First Aid know-how. They’ll learn how to pack a First Aid kit, recognise heat-related injuries, and respond to cuts, bleeding and lightning risks. Children will also put their skills into action through outdoor rescue simulations practising carries such as the piggy-back, human crutch, cradle carry, hand seats, blanket drag and improvised stretchers.

For water safety, give your child the confidence to stay safe around water. They’ll learn how to recognise potential hazards, know when and how to help someone in trouble, and build water awareness through simple rescue techniques. Children will also gain skills in floating, breath control and using Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) safely.

Art Meets Science Camp at Lil’ Palette

Join Lil Palette for 5 days blending art and science into a single, hands-on adventure fueled by curiosity! Each day, the artists will explore techniques by different artists that make use of science to create art. On day one, the art scientists will turn into magnetic maestros as they explore how magnets can dance with paint, inspired by the artist Žilvinas Kempinas.

On day 2, the little artists explore the invisible forces of nature by creating their own “floating creature” magnetic artwork — just like how artist Takis (Panayiotis Vassilakis) used magnets to defy gravity and bring movement to his sculptures! Then on day 3, inspired by the interactive brilliance of Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, the children will create a twinkling sky on canvas. On day 4, little scientists will become sculptors as they build their very own kinetic sculpture inspired by George Rickey On the final day, campers will step into the wildly imaginative world of Joseph Herscher, where everyday objects turn into zany machines.

NAFA Junior Art Programme

NAFA Junior Art Programme runs holiday classes for those between 5 to 16 years old. Enriching courses include craft-making, canvas painting, clay modelling and printmaking to manga drawing.
 
The youngest age group between 5 to 7 years old can learn to make cutesy Christmas decor and bring home their own personalised Christmas Clay Wreath, Canvas Painting, and a Christmas Plushie.
 
7 to 10 year olds will choose clay modelling, or painting on large canvases, produce artworks of cute Pokemon and POPMART characters, and paint on batik. Older ones above 9 can paint bottles and make plushies. 
 
For the tweens and teens, they will learn to use charcoal to create art.

Autism Resource Centre Learning Academy Camps

ARC Learning Academy is organising a series of exciting autism-friendly programmes during the year end school holidays in November and December. The programmes aim to equip children both from Pathlight and non-Pathlight schools with sports, digital/information technology, and leisure skills and improve their physical well-being. Through the programmes, the children can also interact with peers to build social skills. Camp programmes include field trips, hiking, sports, ball games, nature exploration, golf appreciation, art and craft, kpop dance, conversational Chinese, laser gun, archery tag, soccer, taekwando, inline-skating, speech & drama, speed-stacking, LEGO hackathon, 3D art with Duplo, coding, robotics, stop-motion and more!
