The Woodleigh Glen playgrounds provide fun play spaces for kids of different ages at the housing estate at the corner of Bartley Road and Upper Serangoon Road.

The Woodleigh Glen development consists of series of apartment blocks that straddle either side of a green corridor that leads in from Woodleigh Link. We wonder if this green corridor is the “glen” in Woodleigh Glen.

The two sides of the “glen” connected by several bridges and on one are where the Woodleigh Glen playgrounds can be found.

There are three Woodleigh Glen playgrounds. These can be found on the rooftop garden above the car park, in front of Blocks 206A, 206C and 206B.

The largest of the Woodleigh Glen playgrounds is a treehouse-themed play area at Block 206A.

Several play towers are interconnected by bridges and passageways that allow kids to make their way from one of the play structure to the other.

At the centre is a treehouse with a canopy at the top for shade.

Magnifying glass

Look out for the magnifying glass shaped like a toadstool and hidden under the playground platform.

The nature-based theme carries on over at the Woodleigh Glen playground sandwiched in between Blocks 206C and 206D.

Hidden in the midst of the greenery of the rooftop garden, this playground is more suited to younger kids.

There are still climbing elements and a little rope bridge that encourages kids to make use of their developing motor skills.

Bouncy trampoline

A bouncy trampoline encourages kids to get moving up and down.

Found just in front of the precinct pavilion, this simple play area is made up of a single low structure with a slide.
