Singapore’s first-ever Songkran Kids Festival is taking place at Wild Wild Wet, Downtown East from 1 to 30 April 2024.
The Pasir Ris water park is dedicating the month of April for children aged 12 and below, with activities set in a specially decorated park.
There will be colourful, life-size gummy bears decked out in Songkran-inspired pail hats and water guns slung across their backs.
Little ones and their families can look forward to dance parties and workshops, along with live DJ performances and try-outs for juniors.
Another highlight is an epic 25m-long elephant themed inflatable obstacle course for kids and water gun shoot-offs.
Songkran Kids Festival at Wild Wild Wet: Off-Peak, Peak Festival Tickets and Splash Passes
Festival tickets for the Wild Wild Wet Songkran Kids Festival in April are available for sale at the following prices:
- Off-peak – $21 for children or $29 for adults for weekdays; and
- Peak – $29 for children and $39 for adults on Saturdays, Sundays, school and public holidays.
Splash passes for kids, $50 for kids aged 3 to 12 years only, can also be purchased to get access to additional experiences.
Each festival pass includes a limited-edition elephant reusable straw and welcome drink, limited to the first 50 redemptions per day.
Splash Pass holders get a cute elephant hooded towel plus other Splash perks.
What to Expect at Wild Wild Wet Songkran Kids Festival
Inflatable Obstacle Course
Take on an Inflatable Obstacle Course from 12 pm to 6 pm, next to Royal Flush. It is included for all passes.
The 25m-long elephant-themed kids inflatable will feature a series of engaging obstacles that may be more challenging that it appears.
Duck, slide and glide your way through to the end of this bouncy “float”.
Water Gun Battle Stations
What’s a Songkran festival without water guns? At the Wild Wild Wet Songkran Kids Festival, get behind a water gun stations and can gear up with water pistols to engage in playful water battles.
This is included for all passes.
The Big Weekenders Groovy Dance Parties & Workshops
Head out from 1 pm to 5 pm on weekends, next to Neptune Cove, and get ready to bust some moves in true Wild Wild Wet fashion.
Join the cool dance workshops, where the awesome instructors will show you the ropes to the dance floor’s latest moves – along with remixes of favourite pop hits.
There will be two dance workshops on Saturdays and Sundays at 1 pm and 2.20 pm.
Following the workshops, kids can show off the dance moves learnt at the lively 1.5-hour dance finale party at 4 pm on both days.
This is only available for Peak and Splash passes.
The Big Weekenders Live DJ Performances & Try-out sessions
For Weekend Splash Pass holders, there will be chance to rock a live gig by DJ Joeru.
Although Joeru is known for his signature Hard Style music, the popular Open Format jock will spin radio-friendly tunes for juniors, giving them the first taste of electronic music – and introducing them to their debut music festival experience.
On a first-come, first-served basis, kids can enjoy an insightful five-minute trial session, where they can learn the basics of DJ controls and master the art of scratching the board.
This will take place on weekends from 1 pm to 5.30 pm, next to Neptune Cove exclusively for those with Weekend Splash passes.
Hair Tinsel & Airbrush Tattoo
For those with Splash passes, get a stylish treat of hair tinsels and airbrush tattoos that will add a touch of flair to the festivities at Neptune Cove.
Don’t miss the sparkly hair tinsel station, where stylists will delicately weave colourful and metallic strands into your hair, adding to a shimmery and playful look!
This is exclusively for those with Splash Passes.
