Located just a couple of minutes away by car from the CIQ, SKS City Mall JBCC is a new retail mall in Johor Bahru. It is connected to the Sheraton Johor Bahru and has a mix of retail, food and family entertainment options available.
Let’s get this out of the way from the start: SKS City Mall is not very large. It is made up of a basement and four above ground floors of shops. These are centre around an atrium with a huge skylight that lets natural light in. In terms of size, it feels smaller than City Square Mall and is nowhere as large as Mid Valley Southkey or Paradigm Mall.
We recently visited SKS City Mall JBCC and there were still many shops that were in the midst of opening. Here is a look at some of the shops that you can find there.

SKS City Mall JBCC: Food, Restaurants and Dining
There are various restaurants and cafes located within SKS City Mall JBCC.
Amongst the restaurants are Canton Boy (Level 2) which offers dim sum and chicken rice.
Roast & Coffee Signature (Level 2) is where you can enjoy your classic Malaysian dishes. Tea Garden (Basement 1) also serves up Malaysian food.
In terms of Chinese cuisine, dining options at SKS City Mall JBCC include the Shandong Restaurant (Level 4) and Souper Tang (Level 2).
There are also more cafe-style dining options such as Palates & Bagels (Level 1), while The Garden by After Pastry (Level 4) has sandwiches.
Drinks and Food Kiosks
Well known brands like Chagee (Level 2), Zus Coffee (Level 2) and Beutea (Level 2) are also at SKS City Mall JBCC.
Other food kiosks where you can pick up a bite include All About Chew (Level 2), which sells cookies, Coco Bless Patisserie (Level 2), and The Lapiserie (Level 2), which offers kueh lapis.
There are other kiosks too, including an Old Chang Kee in the basement and more.
Shops at SKS City Mall JBCC
Sketchers, Sports Direct, Watsons and Daiso all have outlets at SKS City Mall JBCC.
Other fun shops that families may enjoy browsing through include Mix Store (Level 2) and KKV (Level 1).
Those who need to get some grocery shopping done will be interested to know that there is a Village Grocer opening soon at the basement level.
There are also various beauty and wellness stores, including a spa, salon and more, with many of them located on Level 4.
Family Entertainment
For families, the big draw to SKS City Mall JBCC will be the Jungle Gym SKS City Mall JBCC indoor playground.
Located on Level 3 of the Johor Bahru mall, Jungle Gym SKS City Mall JBCC occupies three units on the floor and it dominates one side of the floor.
Jungle Gym SKS City Mall JBCC has a jungle theme and there are plenty of jungle animals decorating the play equipment throughout the indoor playground.
