Kids of all abilities can enjoy play time together at the Magical Bridge Playground at Sun Plaza Park. Inspired by different seed dispersal methods, the inclusive playground features four zones with swings, slides and more.
Magical Bridge Playground at Sun Plaza Park
The Magical Bridge Playground at Sun Plaza Park in Tampines was officially opened on 17 June 2026. Made possible through the kindness and generosity of Amanda and Vince Steckler, the playground is dedicated in loving memory of Vince.
The playground has a flower motif with semi-shaded shelters throughout the playground area.

Four Zones Inspired by Seed Dispersal Methods
There are four different zones that can be found at the Magical Bridge Playground along with an amphitheatre.
Kids can enjoy various play equipment and these are related back to how plants spread their seeds.
Swings at the Splitting Action Zone
Entering in from the South entrance, you will arrive at the Splitting Action Zone.
Here, you will find plenty of different swings. These include a row of bench swings as well as inclusive swings.
Around the corner, there is a basket swing too!
Kids can have fun on a roller tunnel where they can roll through a yellow set of bar tunnels.
Other unique slides here include an orange slide where kids can sit face to face while swinging back and forth.
There is also a red inclusive swing too!
An interesting factoid is that the layout of the Splitting Zone looks like a seed from above.
Wind Dispersal Zone: Go for a Spin
At the Wind Dispersal Zone, it is a chance for the kids to catch some air as they spin round and round. Kids can ride the merry-go-rounds in this spin zone and imagine that they are seeds spinning through the air.
There is a netted cone merry-go-round that kids can climb and also have a spin at the same time.
Another is a wheel that can be stood on and spun around by walking.
There is also an inclusive merry-go-round that is set into the ground to make it accessible.
Water Dispersal Zone: Slides
The Water Dispersal Zone is filled with a series of blue slides.
Kids can climb up the green turf to reach the top of the blue slides and ride them back down to the bottom. One of the fastest slides here is a roller slide at the centre of the zone.
Animal Dispersal Zone
The fourth zone is inspired by seeds dispersed by animals.
Instead of play equipment, this zone has a series of raised planters to form a sensory garden. It highlights how there are some plants that grow colourful and tasty fruits that attract animals. The animals then transport the seeds to other places.
Seeds of Play
Younger kids can enjoy a small playground with play shelters and a pair of side-by-side low slides where there are signboards that provide more information about what seeds are and how they germinate.
Close to the amphitheatre, there is also an area with seating for care-givers and kids to take a rest.

Childhood Play at the Magical Bridge Playground
The Magical Bridge Playground is located with Sun Plaza Park in Tampines. It was installed by Semec Enterprise.
While at Sun Plaza Park, you can also pay a visit to the therapeutic garden and its recycled wood “maze”.
