Move it, move it – down to Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay for Madagascar the Musical from 18 to 24 January 2024. 

This musical production at the Esplanade Theatre will bring back the familiar characters from Madagascar for an adventure on stage.

After having spent their whole lives living in captivity at New York’s Central Park Zoo, Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hippo make a break for it and head off to explore the world.

Madagascar the Musical is based on the hit DreamWorks animated motion picture and features an upbeat score and outlandish characters like the fan-favourite penguins.

The live adaptation is brought to life by ABA Productions and Selladoor Worldwide.

The Madagascar the Musical cast and crew of 30 come from the United Kingdom, and includes award-winning director Kirk Jameson. Audiences can expect an elaborate display of dance, music, puppetry, costumes and stage design at the show. 

Singapore is the only stop in the region for Madagascar the Musical. 

Tickets for the show start from $48. There is also an early bird promotion with 20% off till 31 July 2023.
