AI Companion for the Hunt the Mouse Game by Sqkii
This year also marks the debuts Timii, an AI companion designed to make gameplay more interactive and accessible for players of all ages.
A first for #HuntTheMouse, Timii will guide and chat with players, offering helpful tips to beginners throughout the hunt.
How to Play: Follow the Release of Gold Coin Hints to #HuntTheMouse
Coins are hidden progressively across Singapore. Free to play and open to all, the first to find the coin redeems cash of corresponding value.
Players can get visual hints on a real-time map on the game website huntthemouse.sqkii.com to locate the coins.
Players can follow the Gold Coin hints released three times daily on Sqkii’s Instagram, Facebook, and Telegram. Hints will also be posted daily on social media from day one.
Circles on the in-game map, which indicate possible silver coin locations, will shrink over time.
Most importantly, the real-time map will also eliminate improbable gold coin locations three times a day at 10 am, 2 pm, and 6 pm daily.
Regular power-up features to help hunters get ahead in the game will apply:
- Circle Shrink – Narrows the search area by shrinking the Silver Coin circle.
- Coin Sonar – Scans the surroundings (25m or 50m) to reveal how close the Silver Coin is.
- Metal Detector – Turns the mobile phone into a detector that gives visual feedback while moving within the Silver Coin circle.
#IKWL (“I Know Where Liao”) Gameplay
For the #IKWL (“I Know Where Liao”) Gameplay, players can guess the location of the hidden S$250,000 Gold Coin on the official game site.
Each verified Sqkii account (for players aged 18 and above) comes with three free guesses, and more can be earned by completing optional brand actions. No purchase is needed to play.
Up to ten players whose guesses fall within 20 metres of the actual location will share a S$250,000 prize pool. If no one lands within 20 metres, the ten closest guesses win.
Enjoying the Game
Take note that community safety and respect for both public and private properties are taken very seriously. There are clear rules and safety guidelines published on the game website and reminders are shared on social media.
Players must acknowledge and agree to these rules and safety guidelines before commencing the game. Any players found violating these rules and safety guidelines risk disqualification and may be reported to the authorities for further action.
According to data collected, #HuntTheMouse attracted nearly 1 million players last year. 79% of the active players spent an average of three hours each time they went out hunting for the Coins.
Besides hunting for Coins, the map in the game also contains Places of Interest in which players receive interesting bite-sized historical, cultural, or futuristic facts about nearby locations to add layers of discovery to their exploration.
