There are two fun cake designs that we liked from Shophouse by Shangri-La! The Latte for Dad is the perfect cake to say “Thanks a latte” to dad! The cake is customizable and is available in two variations where the cup is made of either white or dark chocolate. The Latte for Dad has a mix of Kahlua, Baileys, mascarpone mousse, vanilla bean chantilly cream and ladyfinger sponges to offer the familiar flavours of tiramisu.
Another that stood out to us was the Super Dad cake! This superhero-inspired creation has cute fondant decorations featuring a cape-donning chocolate figure atop a cake that has a glossy red hue. The cake is made of two layers of chocolate sponge and rich chocolate mousse and finished with the red glaze which has a light cocoa flavour.
