Take a journey through the years at Community Garden Festival 2019 from 1 to 3 November 2019. This third edition of the biennal event brings together garden displays which look back on Singapore’s gardening journey and projects which aim to inspire the aspiring home gardener. The event at Jurong Lake Gardens includes free activities for families.
Gardening through the Years
The centrepiece of Community Garden Festival 2019 is an outdoor display put together by more than 100 Community in Bloom gardeners and ambassadors from the five Community Development Councils.
Based on the theme “Gardening through the Years”, the display takes a reflective look at the evolution of gardening trends in Singapore from the 1960s to the present day.

Gardeners’ Showcase
Together a sense of the future of gardening, head to the indoor Gardener’s Showcase tent.

If the displays remind you of an IKEA showroom, that’s because it has been setup in partnership with the Swedish furniture giant.

Marketplace and Event Square
Over at the other tent, there are more than 60 stalls of hobbyists, start-ups and expert growers with items like plants, ornamental fish, gardening wares, lifestyle products and food & beverage for sale.

Stage programmes and talks covering topics such as fish keeping, bees and growing tomatoes in Singapore will also be held throughout the three-day event .
