It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas – under the glass roof of the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay that is.
Red poinsettias and sprigs of holly decorate the flower field where a 11-metre high Christmas Pyramid decked with toys takes centre stage.
The new Christmas Toyland floral display is themed around toys and all things nice. Teddy bears, nutcrackers and even Russian dolls line up along the pathways that wind through the flower field.
In a first for the Flower Dome, the wooden Christmas Pyramid will also be used as a stage for festive performances on selected weekends in November and December. The melodious sounds of operatic performers, angelic choirs and lush strings ensembles will serenade the crowds at the Flower Dome. There are also special ventriloquist and storytelling sessions planned.

Be enthralled by vocals of 12 year old soprano Lauren Yeo, the first Singaporean to have won the inaugural American Protégé International Vocal Competition, and was presented with the “Best Performer” award at the winners’ recital at Carnegie Hall, New York.
