The Children’s Festival @ Gardens by the Bay 2018 takes place from 26 May to 10 June 2018 at the Supertree Grove, Garden by the Bay. Here are some of the things you can look out for at this June holidays 2018 event.
The Magic Faraway Tree
Explore the world of Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway Tree during the Children’s Festival @ Gardens by the Bay 2018. Go on a journey through four lands based on places found in the beloved children’s book. Look for fairy folk at the Land of Enchantments and see toys come to lie at the Land of Toys. Pay a visit to the Land of Nursery Rhymes and be charmed at the Land of Tea Parties. Pick up a Magic Leaf booklet and collect rubs at each land to receive a prize.
Show and Performances
During the Children’s Festival @ Gardens by the Bay 2018, there will be plenty of kid-friendly activities for one and all. These include magic shows, a giant bubble show, a toy show and storytelling sessions. There will also be a Follow the Leaves musical too.
Meet the Characters
Get to meet Moon-face, Saucepan Man, Tilly & Fernie and Silky at the Children’s Festival @ Gardens by the Bay 2018. They will be on stage every Friday to Sunday at 5.30 pm. They will also be roving around daily at various times to delight audiences at the school holiday 2018 event.
Magic Makers’ Studio (Workshops)
There will also be workshops held at the Magic Makers Studio during Children’s Festival @ Gardens by the Bay 2018. Registration is required and fees apply.
Magic Pass
Most of the activities and performances are free for visitors. However, there a few that are ticketed. Visitors to the Children’s Festival @ Gardens by the Bay 2018 will be able to pick up a Magic Pass on-site to gain access to The Enchanter’s Marvellous Mirror Maze, Toy Fort and Candy Party. Entry for these activities can also be purchased separately.
